Track payments, credit days and receivables in K-Logistics
K-Logistics works out the due date and what is outstanding from the terms you type. It does not make or receive payments; it only records them.

- Type the Credit days and choose what the Credit runs from: Invoice date, Delivery date, B/L or AWB date, or Arrival (ATA).

- Click Save terms.
Record a payment
- Open Record a payment on the same card.
- Set the Date and type the Amount.

- Click Save payment. The outstanding amount and status update at once.
See what is due
- Open Receivables (dispatches and exports) or Payables (imports).
- Choose By customer (or By supplier) or By project.
- Read the ageing columns: Not due, 0–30, 31–60, 61–90 and 90+ days past due.
Good to know
- Status is Not due, Due soon (7 days or less), Overdue (with days), Part paid or Paid.
- Default credit days come from the buyer or supplier in Transporters & contacts or, for dispatches, from the project's client.
- Tick MSME supplier on a supplier: an import unpaid more than 45 days after delivery is flagged (MSMED Act s.15; check your agreement).
- Amounts stay in their own currency; nothing is converted.
Common errors
"Give the invoice amount first (Terms)."
Save the invoice amount under Terms before you record a payment.
"That is more than what is outstanding (...)."
The payment is larger than what is left. Check the amount, the advance and earlier payments.
"The currency stays ...: an advance or payments are already recorded in it."
Remove the advance and payments first, change the currency, then record them again.
"Credit days is a whole number from 0 to 365."
Type a whole number such as 30 or 45.
"Give the date of the advance (today or earlier)."
An advance needs a date that is not in the future.
