Good to know
- There are no passwords in K-Tender. You sign in with Khanal ID and two-step verification is required. Signing out of Khanal ID ends your K-Tender session.
- Each organisation's records are kept apart. Roles decide who sees what: prices and bank details only for finance roles, confidential documents only for finance and directors, and JV collaborators only see tenders shared with them.
- Records are in a database on Khanal Group servers in India. Files are kept only in your organisation's own Google Drive or OneDrive; uploads are refused until a drive is connected. See Security.
- To delete your data, export what you need, then write to hello@khanals.in from your account e-mail. See Export or delete your data.
Common errors
I cannot open the Audit log
Only Organisation admins, Tender managers and Read-only auditors can. A member limited to some companies cannot, because the log covers all companies.
Does K-Tender keep a copy of my files?
No. Files pass through the server while they are uploaded or opened and are stored only in your drive. K-Tender keeps file details such as name, size and checksum.
Does K-Tender submit bids or use my DSC?
No. K-Tender never submits bids, never uses or stores DSCs, PINs or portal passwords, and never pays an EMD.
