What goes wrong today

The problems CS firms tell us about

One Excel per client

Due dates for AOC-4, MGT-7, DIR-3 KYC, MSME-1 and the event-based forms sit in separate sheets, and the partner cannot see which client is late.

Late filings cost the client

A missed due date means additional fees on the MCA portal and an awkward call with the client.

Resolutions without a trail

It is hard to show which resolution needed MGT-14, when it was filed and under which reference.

Chasing documents and DSCs

Client requests come by email and phone, and nobody tracks whose DSC is with whom or when it expires.

IPO drafts with numbers that do not match

Figures in a draft offer document drift from the restated financials, and someone has to check every one by hand.

The firm’s own work comes last

Fees to collect, GST and TDS of the firm itself, and staff email signatures that each person formats differently.

The apps

Four apps for a CS firm, one sign-in

Each app works on its own. Most firms start with K-Secretarial and add the others when they need them.

Screens from our demo firm Mehta & Rao Company Secretaries and our other demo companies on our staging servers. Every name, number and email address in them is made up.

K-Secretarial portfolio of Mehta & Rao: 60 demo companies with an average score of 93, one high-risk company, 9 overdue filings, 107 due in the next 7 days and 137 in 30 days, and the companies listed with score, overdue filings and preparer.

K-SecretarialCompany secretarial

All your client companies, with what is overdue and due next

The compliance tracker shows every open filing for every company you manage, with its due date, period, assignee and days overdue, and the calendar shows them by month or financial year. Each company has its own page with meetings and minutes, directors and KMP, resolutions with the MGT-14 trail and the statutory registers. Client requests and DSCs are tracked too.

K-IPO findings for the demo issuer Sunrise Agro Foods Ltd: figures in the draft offer document that disagree with the restated financials, each with its severity, where it was found, the expected and found values and an Explain or dismiss button.

K-IPOSME IPO readiness

A working desk for an SME IPO, with checks on the draft

For promoters, CFOs, company secretaries and their advisers preparing for BSE SME or NSE Emerge. It tracks the finance, secretarial and legal workstreams and their documents. Data checks compare figures in the draft offer document with the restated financials and list every disagreement as a finding to fix, explain or dismiss; the checks never change your data.

K-Finance receivables for the demo company Aarav Infra Projects Pvt Ltd: ₹1.25 Cr outstanding on 10 invoices from 6 customers, ₹32.70 L falling due in 7 days, ₹57.27 L overdue, one promise to pay today, and ageing by customer with each customer’s average days to pay.

K-FinanceThe firm’s books

Your firm’s books, GST, TDS and fees to collect

Vouchers and ledgers with an edit log, GST returns, TDS and challans, payroll and bank reconciliation. Receivables show what every client owes and how late it is, with promises to pay and a follow-up queue. My Day reads the books each morning and lists who to collect from and the next filing date.

K-MailSign template gallery previewed with the demo company’s details: layouts such as Classic Corporate, Executive Line and Boardroom, filters by style and industry, and a switch to use the brand colour.

K-MailSignEmail signatures

One correct email signature for every person in the firm

K-MailSign connects to Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 with one admin sign-in. Design a signature once and assign it to people, teams or the whole firm; names, titles and phone numbers come from your directory, including in Outlook on the web through the add-in.

K-Secretarial, K-IPO and K-Finance keep documents in your organisation’s own Google Drive or OneDrive through connected storage; uploads are refused until a drive is connected: where each app keeps its data.

Questions

Questions CS firms ask

Does K-Secretarial file forms on the MCA portal?

No. It tracks what is due, prepares meeting documents and keeps registers; filing on MCA V3 stays with your DSC and your team.

Can each client company be kept apart?

Yes. Your firm is one organisation with one page per client company, and members of another organisation can never see your data. In K-IPO, each company’s IPO workspace is a separate organisation and advisers are invited per company.

Is a plan priced by the number of companies?

Yes. K-Secretarial plans differ only in companies and users; every plan has the compliance tracker, meetings and minutes, statutory registers and the document vault in your own drive.
