What you need

  • A role that may use Discover (Organisation admin, Tender manager or Tender executive)
  • A few keywords for the work you bid for, for example "athletic track"
  • The states and value range you are interested in

Browse live tenders

  1. In the left menu, open Discover and click Discover tenders. The Live tenders tab opens.
  2. Type words in the search box, for example "synthetic turf" state:Jharkhand value>=50L.
  3. Open Filters to pick the state, category, closing window or value range.
  4. Choose Newest first or Closing soonest.
  5. Click a notice title to open K-Tender's own page of the notice. Click Official source to open the portal in a new tab.

Add a notice to your register

  1. On the notice, click Add to register. The tender is created in Watching with its closing date.
  2. Check the closing date against the portal.
  3. Click ☆ Watch instead if you only want to keep an eye on it in the shared watchlist.
  4. Click Dismiss for me to hide a notice from your own list.

Save a search with alerts

  1. On Discover, click the Saved searches & sources tab.
  2. Open New saved search and type a Search name.
  3. Fill Keywords, States, Categories or the Search query.
  4. Tick Notify me in the app of new matches, and tick Watch to get one e-mail summary of new matches per run.
  5. Click Save search. New matches appear on the Matches tab.

Get one daily e-mail instead of many

  1. Open the menu under your name and click Notification preferences.
  2. Tick One daily digest instead of individual emails.
  3. Keep Weekly digest ticked for the Monday summary.
  4. Save the page.

Good to know

  • K-Tender reads only CPPP's public listing pages and never opens CAPTCHA-protected pages or downloads tender documents. Always read the notice and download the documents on the portal.
  • GeM does not permit automated collection. Forward GeM's bid alert e-mails to your address on the GeM alerts tab, or upload bid documents on Import GeM.
  • CPPP listings carry no value or EMD, so value filters leave them in unless you tick Only notices with a published value.
  • Recommended scores notices 0 to 100 against your company's qualification profile. It is a reading aid; the tender's own clauses decide.

Common errors

I cannot see the Discover menu

Your role does not have Discover, or your plan does not include it. Ask your organisation admin.

"Search query:" warning when I save a search

Part of the query is not in the search syntax. Check quotes and prefixes such as org:, state:, value>= and closing<=, then save again.

The CPPP link says "Invalid Url"

CPPP's own detail links stop working after a short time. Use the Tender ID shown under the notice and search for it on the portal with Search → Tender ID.

A notice I expected is missing

It may be closed (tick Show closed tenders) or dismissed by you (tick Show only what I dismissed). Notices on portals K-Tender does not read can be added with Import from URL.
