K-MailSign

Export your K-MailSign data as a ZIP of JSON and CSV files

Download a full copy of your organisation’s K-MailSign data in one ZIP file. You can also copy a signature’s HTML or download the add-in and script files.

What you need

  • The Owner or Administrator role
  • A spreadsheet program for the CSV files, or any text editor for the JSON files

Download the full export

  1. Click Settings in the sidebar.
  2. Scroll to Export your data.
  3. Click Download export (.zip).
  4. Save the file. It is named like kmailsign-export-abc-infra-20261025-103000.zip.
  5. Open the ZIP. Read manifest.json first: it lists how many rows each file holds.

Copy a signature’s HTML

  1. Open Signatures and click a signature.
  2. Pick a person under Preview as.
  3. Click Install / copy.
  4. Click Copy HTML source and paste it where you need it.

Download the files K-MailSign gives you

  1. On Integrations, click Download manifest to save the Outlook add-in file.
  2. Click Download the setup script or Removal script for the server-side rules.
  3. On Import employees, click Download sample CSV for the import template.

Good to know

  • The ZIP holds JSON files for the organisation, team members, employees, departments, offices, signatures and their versions, the templates they use, published signatures, deployments and their mailbox results, payments and the activity log. Team members, employees, departments, offices, signatures, deployments, mailbox results, payments and the activity log also come as CSV files.
  • Times are in UTC and amounts are in paise. Passwords, Google and Microsoft tokens and add-in keys are never exported.
  • Every export is recorded in the Activity log. You can export up to 10 times an hour.
  • Signatures already deployed stay in Gmail when you disconnect. Outlook signatures stop when the add-in is removed.

Common errors

I cannot see Export your data in Settings

Only Owners and Administrators see it. Ask one of them to download the export, or to change your role under Team & access.

"Too many attempts. Please wait and try again."

An organisation can export up to 10 times an hour. Wait a while and click Download export (.zip) again.

A CSV cell starts with an apostrophe (')

K-MailSign adds it to cells that begin with =, +, - or @, so a spreadsheet cannot run them as formulas. The JSON files have the original value.

"Copy failed" when I copy the signature

Your browser blocked the clipboard. Allow clipboard access for sign.khanals.in, or use another browser, and try again.

"You do not have permission to do this." on Integrations downloads

Downloading the scripts needs the Owner, Administrator or IT administrator role.
