K-IPO
Track readiness, freeze the DRHP and answer exchange queries
K-IPO shows what still stands between your project and filing. When it is clear, you freeze the DRHP and then track the exchange's queries.

What you need
- An IPO project with data, checks run and the DD checklist in progress
- Reviewers from each party for sign-off
- The Lead role to mark the project ready
Clear the blockers
- Open the project and click Readiness.
- Read the list of blockers and click one to go to the page that fixes it.
- Open each chapter from Chapters and click Sign off for your party when it is right.
- Follow the approval chain on the chapter: Mark prepared, Mark reviewed, then Mark approved (merchant banker), each by a different person.
- Click Lock chapter as lead when the chapter is final.
Freeze and file
- Click Mark ready to file on the Readiness page when no blockers are left.
- Open Frozen versions and click Freeze the full DRHP.
- Click Word or PDF to download the frozen file. Its hash is checked first.
- Click Record filed PDF… after filing.
- Click Compare to see what changed between two versions.
Answer exchange queries
- Open Exchange queries and click + Letter for the observation letter.
- Click + Query for each query, with its chapter, owner and due date.
- Click Respond to record the answer and the change made.
- Click Response table (Word) or Excel to send the replies.
Good to know
- The progress score is not a readiness or compliance certification.
- Any material change withdraws "ready to file". Use Withdraw “ready” to do it yourself.
- Set the DRHP filing date in Settings. It picks the version of every rule.
Common errors
"Not ready to file: ..."
The message lists what is still open, for example critical findings or unverified DD items. Clear each one and try again.
"The frozen Word file no longer matches the SHA-256 recorded when it was frozen"
The file in Drive was changed after freezing. Do not use it. Freeze a new version, or ask hello@khanals.in.
"Only the lead or someone who gave a step can revoke the approval chain."
Ask the project lead, or the person who recorded a step, to click Revoke chain.
