How the apps work together

One project, start to finish

Follow one job through seven apps: an access road and its site office at Hinjewadi, Pune, for our demo contractor Aarav Infra Projects. From the first enquiry to cement arriving at the site store, each step shows the real screen, what happens there and what moves on to the next app.

  1. K-CRM: the enquiry
  2. K-Survey: survey and BOQ
  3. K-Tender: the bid
  4. K-Projects: DPR and RA bill
  5. K-Finance: the receivable
  6. K-HR: site attendance
  7. K-Logistics: the dispatch
Demo data. Every screen is from our demo company on our staging servers, and every name, number and address in them is made up. Each app’s demo data was made separately: the Hinjewadi survey, tender, project, site and dispatch belong to this job, while the enquiry and the RA bills shown are other demo customers’ records of the same kind.
K-CRM lead page of a demo enquiry for Aarav Infra Projects: company, phone, demo email, city, product, source, expected value and requirement, a lead score of 73 out of 100 with the reasons, status and owner, a form to add a call or site visit, and a Request site survey button.

K-CRM

Step 1: An enquiry comes in and asks for a site survey

The job starts as an enquiry: from the website form, a CSV or a phone call. K-CRM checks it for duplicates, scores it out of 100 with the reasons shown, and gives it an owner, who logs calls, meetings and site visits against it.

Before anyone can price the work, someone has to see the site. Request site survey sends the enquiry to K-Survey.

Next: K-Survey gets the request, and K-CRM shows the survey’s status.

About K-CRM

K-Survey survey of the demo Hinjewadi site office, G+1: site code, status submitted, surveyor, visit date, contact on site, address and brief, the visit times, the next step with Mark reviewed and Prepare the BOQ from this survey, and observations such as an exclusion and a high risk.

K-Survey

Step 2: The site is surveyed, measured and priced

The surveyor opens the survey on a phone, checks in, answers the on-site checklist (plot, ground, access, utilities, drawings), fills the required photo angles and takes measurements, even with no signal.

In the office the survey is reviewed and its measurement sheet becomes a BOQ with rates: here ₹3,89,350.80 before tax for the site office, ready to send for approval.

Next: the approved BOQ and the site facts can go on to K-Projects, as a new project or into an existing one.

About K-Survey

A 10-second clip from the demo world, without sound.

Watch

From checklist to BOQ

The submitted survey’s checklist answers and measurement sheet, then the BOQ made from it, with a rate and an amount on every item.

K-Tender bid overview of the demo tender Cement concrete (PQC) roads for Hinjewadi Phase 3 internal streets, package 2: bid approved, bid due 8 Nov 2026, tabs for deadlines, eligibility, checklist, documents, technical and financial bids and EMD and BG, an estimated value of ₹16.8 crore and an EMD of ₹16.8 lakh, tender details and the key dates.
Demo data on staging. The numbered points explain the screen.
K-Tender

Step 3: The bid for the road is prepared

The road itself is a public tender: cement concrete roads for Hinjewadi Phase 3, estimated at ₹16.8 crore with an EMD of ₹16.8 lakh (demo figures). K-Tender holds the key dates with reminders 7, 3 and 1 days before, the eligibility check against the company’s own numbers, the bid checklist, the documents, and the EMD and bank guarantee behind the bid.

It prepares and tracks the bid. It never submits it, signs with a DSC or pays the EMD.

Next: a won contract starts a project in K-Projects with its BOQ and milestones.

About K-Tender

K-Projects overview of the demo project Hinjewadi IT Park access road, Phase 2: 10.3% done against 18.3% planned, 15 days behind schedule, last DPR on 24 Oct 2026, 2 open hindrances, ₹18.4 crore contract value and ₹4.14 crore BOQ, the client, the slipping activity and the rain hindrances.

K-Projects

Step 4: The site reports every day, and the RA bill is measured

The site engineer files the daily progress report from a phone: work done by activity, manpower, machinery, hindrances and photos. The office sees done against planned (here 10.3% against 18.3%, 15 days behind) and every site that has gone two days without a DPR.

Checked measurement-book entries become the running-account bill abstract at BOQ rates. Its CSV goes to K-Tender, which matches the lines to the contract BOQ and pre-fills the client’s RA bill.

Next: the RA bill is raised from K-Tender, and approved contractor bills, goods received and site expenses wait in K-Finance’s review queue.

About K-Projects

An 8-second clip, without sound. Nothing was sent: the report stays on the phone until it is sent.

Watch

A DPR on the phone, with or without signal

The offline DPR form keeps reports on the phone until there is signal: project, date, weather, work done with the chainage, then manpower, machinery, hindrances, notes and photos.

K-Finance invoice register of Aarav Infra Projects: RA bills by number and customer with date, due status such as 46 days overdue or due today, total, collectable amount and status open or partially paid, with filters by status, age, customer and project.
Demo data on staging. The numbered points explain the screen.
K-Finance

Step 5: The bill becomes a receivable, and the money is matched to it

In K-Finance the RA bills sit in the invoice register with their due dates and status; K-Finance also pulls receivables and bank guarantees from K-Tender. Receivables shows ageing by customer, promises to pay and who to call next.

When the client pays, Record receipt takes the amount and the UTR and allocates it to the open RA bills. K-Finance records money that has reached your bank; it never sends money.

Next: GST, TDS and the books carry on in K-Finance; nothing from another app is posted until a person accepts it.

About K-Finance

A 9-second clip from the demo world, without sound. It stops before Record, so nothing was saved.

Watch

A receipt allocated to the RA bill

Record receipt: the customer, the amount, the mode and UTR, your bank account, then the open invoices and RA bills it settles. It can also allocate automatically, oldest due first.

K-HR offices and sites of Aarav Infra Projects: the head office in Pune with a 200 m geofence and 11 people, and the demo Hinjewadi site with a 500 m geofence and 19 people, with the form to add a location.
Demo data on staging. The numbered points explain the screen.
K-HR

Step 6: The site crew checks in inside the site’s geofence

The Hinjewadi site is a location in K-HR with a 500 m geofence. The crew check in and out from their phones; the location is read only at that moment and only with their consent, and a check-in made with no signal is sent when the connection returns.

A check-in from outside the fence is allowed and flagged, or refused, as the company sets it. Managers approve leave and missed punches, and the attendance register shows the month for everyone.

Next: the month’s attendance and leave wait in K-Finance’s payroll review queue, and K-Finance works out the pay.

About K-HR

K-Logistics domestic dispatch DEMO/AIPL/DC/013 marked dispatched, late and e-way bill missing: the form to update the status with the receiver and a challan photo, 170 bags of cement and 2 MT of TMT bar, the payment due from the customer on 30 days’ credit, and the shipment to the Km 3 site store of the Hinjewadi IT Park access road with transporter, vehicle, driver and LR number.
Demo data on staging. The numbered points explain the screen.
K-Logistics

Step 7: Cement and steel are dispatched to the site store

Material for the road goes out as one record per invoice: the material lines, the project and site (here the Km 3 site store), transporter, vehicle, LR number and expected delivery. On delivery the site adds the receiver and a photo of the signed challan.

Late dispatches and missing e-way bills are flagged, and the credit days show what the customer still owes.

Next: invoices and payments wait in K-Finance’s review queue until a person accepts them.

About K-Logistics

  • K-CRM to K-Survey: Request site survey sends the enquiry; K-CRM shows the survey’s status.
  • K-Survey to K-Projects: the approved BOQ and the site facts, as a new project or into an existing one.
  • K-Tender to K-Projects: a won contract starts a project with its BOQ and milestones; RA abstract quantities go back to K-Tender for the client bill.
  • K-Projects, K-Logistics and K-HR to K-Finance: bills, goods received, site expenses, invoices, payments and the month’s attendance wait in K-Finance’s review queue until a person accepts them.
  • Coming: K-Projects with K-Logistics (purchase orders to dispatches, deliveries to goods received), and K-CRM quotations to K-Finance invoices.

Each app also works on its own. One Khanal ID signs in to all of them. The Construction suite puts K-Tender, K-Survey, K-Projects, K-Logistics, K-Stock and K-Finance (with K-MailSign) on one licence, and Khanal One adds K-CRM, K-HR and the rest.
